KATSYE, the 6 member group, which just got nominated for Best New Artist and Best Duo/Group Performance, but they didn’t win. I think they should’ve. But recently the whole “KATSEYE” red and yellow aesthetic is gone. Now it’s pink and black, and we’re not ready for it.

KATSEYE first started teasing the album at the Spotify Music awards when E! News interviewed them. When asked about the album, Daniela stated, “Ooh, that has to be kept a secret! But it’s gonna come out very soon.” She basically justified the album.

Then, on the Jimmy Fallon Show, each member took turns describing the album. Sophia described it as “colorful,” Manon described it as “energetic,” Megan described the album as “hot,” Yoonchae said “fun,” Daniela described it as “fierce,” and then Lara did the gesture that symbolizes tea.

Remember the tea.

Then, yesterday, they announced a new single called, “Pinky Up” which is set to release April 7. This single resurfaced with KATSEYE’s teasers.
